5 part Embroidery series

image15

Starting Tuesday May 7th 10am -12pm

The theme for this next embroidery series is paisley, a teardrop-shaped design with a curve at one end. There will be several large primary motifs scattered on the fabric, interspersed with smaller motifs. The motifs will be stitched with a variety of threads, colours, and stitches. We will begin with basic stitches in various combinations and gradually work up to the more complicated stitches.

The first class will involve transferring the design, basting the main and backing fabrics together, and starting the embroidery. Subsequent classes will involve learning new stitches.

Grab your favourite embroidery threads (Eleganza, Wonderfil, DMC) and your fabric and let's get stitching.
